Macarons !

Do you have a sweet tooth ?!?

Well I do! And everytime whenever i pass-by any pastry store, I always wanted to try the small, exquisite macarons!

($8.75 for box of 6)

I went over to the bakerzin nearest my house at Yishun Northpoint, maybe it is still weekday but the staff didnt notice my presence untill sometime later ):

Had to wait for quite sometime before i was served ! Sigh, but the food did help to cover up for the bad service !

Colourful macarons all down into your stomach!

Crunchy on the outside ! Soft and creamy on the inside ! 2 different experience in one small pastry!

Different flavour have different texture!

The brown one(chocolate), is much more chewy on the inside and a strong caramel taste ~! While the one with lots of little pink dots is a mixture of vanilla and strawberry (love it to the max). And the purple one (blueberry?) is really crunchy and soft, but a little way too sweet.

In short, I would say that all of the macaron taste a little too sweet for me,if you really really really love eating sweet stuff, you will definety love it!

But it is still worth the try if you dont enjoy eating sweet stuff!

~Eating at somewhere high~

Thinking of having your meal at somewhere 226 metres above ground? Maybe its time for you to try the Equinox Restaurant at Swisshotel. it is At the 70^th storey, and let you have your meal while viewing the scenery too. However, not only is the restaurant located high, the prices are also set high so please take note!!!

One of the main course, Baby Lamb Chops in Tandoori Marsala with Smoky Brinjal Aubergine Puree, Crisp Potato Pakora and Coriander-Mint Chutney $48

The other main course, Korobuta Black Pork Loin with puree from Haricot Beans, Roasted Sweet Bell Peppers, Chorizo and Picholine Olive Sugo $46

Both main courses were absolutely delish!!!! Arranged beautifully, the meats and the sides were perfect-matches and the aromas were those of char grilled smokiness paired with the sweet perfume of the vegetables. It was a treat for all senses!! 

The desserts were created by the chefs and like the main courses, beautifully done. However, I had forgotten the price for them thus i'll be giving the price range for their desserts. It is between $18 to $22. 

Some comments for the restaurant. Truly a fine dinning restaurant, the ambience is romantic, service is superb and the food impeccably prepared. This is the perfect place to impress girls!! So guys pls take note ^^
