Korean Food!

Craving for some korean food after watching all the korean drama on televison? Perhaps its time to come down to Auntie Kim's korean restaurant. The moment you step into this restaurant, you will know that it is a family business serving very authentic food. The restaurant is rather homely and elegant with wooden tables and cushions placed almost everywhere. 

The appetizers came free of charge and refillable!! I love this place already!!!

Here we have Bibimbap which includes Rice, assorted vegetables, egg and chicken in hotpot. Add the special sauce and stir everything together and tahdah, a delicious rice dish. The mixture of soft rice and fresh, crunchy vegetables provides a refreshing texture. 

From $16.00, you can have a Seafood korean pancake that is not only tasty, but crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The salty-spicy homemade sauce also brought an interesting tanginess to the already tasty pancake.

For BBQ food lovers, BBQ sliced pork belly. This has gotta be the best dish of my meal. The pork belly were sliced thinly and grilled to perfectness. The lean meat and the fats were of the right proportion. Grilled until slightly crispy, the pork belly slices were best eaten wrapped in the accompanying fresh lettuce. 

In average, each of the dishes has a price range of $15.00 to $30.00.(Sorry that i had to use a price range as i was unable to remember the exact price.) The price are a little steep but the portion was quite big so i guess it was worth the money.

Chocolate mousse cake $6.40++

I always enjoy eating rich and moist cake! Always hate it when i bought a piece of cake which is over $4+ and it turn out dry and hard. Over-baked ...

Well, this Chocolate mousse cake is just what i enjoy ! Rich and moist. Just look at the layer of mousse, so light ,fluffy and at the same time rich of chocolate flavour !

Definitely melt when you place it in your mouth!

For me, this piece of cake can is able to filled up my tummy together with a glass of ice water (will be served, but sometime you need to request)

The cake prepared each day at Coffee Star is limited, so better order it before it's sold out!

After trying the Macaroons, I am so tempted to try their cakes due to their $8.90++ tea time special promotion !

1 slice of cake + 1 drink = $8.90++  Really really really really worth it !

I love to eat sweet stuff, cakes, icecreams and of course chocolate ! But sometime chocolate are just too sweet and you get sick of them ! I am a fickle person &this apply to my taste bud too, I can never stick to the same food for the whole meal.

So other than ordering Chocolate cakes, another favorite cake of mine is Tiramisu.

Seriously i love this Tiramisu a lot ! The light and fluffy cream/mousse together with the lady finger that had absorb the flavour of coffee, this is just so heavenly ! Mixture of sweetness and bitter ~

Together with the cocoa powder, the flavour is just nice ! I can seriously finish this whole slice all by myself ! But if they could put more cocoa powder, i would love it even more (i enjoy eating dark chocolate, just my personal taste)

Eating something sweet, you should always have some bitter or plain drink to bring out the flavour of the sweet food !

This is what i called high tea, cake with coffee !

Chocolate souffle ; moist and soft!

Chocolate souffle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! $10.90++

The chocolate souffle taste like dark chocolate with a little touch of nut taste(not a fan of nuts). If you enjoy eating or munching on nuts, you could try this !

Just by eating the souffle alone the taste wasnt really impressive but when you eat it together with the ice cream, the taste is just like magic ! Something warm that taste chocolaty and cold vanilla ice cream always make a wonderful pair !

Just look at how moist and soft the souffle is !

The kaya is *ooohhhh* so tasty! the butter may seem to be a piece, but it is not hard. Melted together with the kaya spread, you feel it in your mouth!
