Ever thought that you will never walk into a school for good food?

Well, it may not be the best prawn noodle or ching teng around BUT....

it definitely is good for a school canteen standard!!

Prawn noodles ($2.50). The soup is not diluted and it tastes good! Some people even ask for a big bowl of soup instead of those really small bowls. 

The prawn is not really handled nicely, but well this is not a 5-star restaurant and you can't expect much.

Feel that this small bowl will not satisfy you? I can say that it will make me 65%-70% full just with this $2.50 portion of noodles. If you feel that it is not enough, order yours for $3/$3.50!

On such a warm day with a hot weather how could you miss out on cold desserts!! Above is ching teng ($0.60). It is sweet enough for me, but may not be for those with a very sweet tooth! The sweetness may vary from time to time, but it never tastes too bad.

Waffletown in Makan Place

Have you ever had a craving for hot and fluffy waffle or some crispy fried chicken during your lunch break? Maybe it's time to head down to makan place for the food from the wonderful waffletown. In this post, I'll be recommending their fried chicken and waffle for all of you.

Scare of all the oil that other fried food contains? Fear not as the fried chicken is not only tasty, the skin is also not too oily so you dun have to be afraid of taking in too much oil. In case you are not full from the chicken, there are set meal which cost $5.20 for 2 piece chicken set meal. There are also side orders if you are not full. So do try them out.

Wondering if there is any dessert in waffletown? The answer is yes. they do have waffle for sale and their waffle is made upon ordering so not to worry that it is not warm and fluffy. Ice-cream waffle is a must have if you are looking for something sweet. What I would recommend is the raspberry ice cream to go with the waffle at $3.30 for single scoop and $4.30 for double scoop.
