A place for laid-back meal

Looking for a place where you can enjoy your delicious food peacefully on a weekend? This place that i am about to recommend definitely fits the bill. Located at 55 Lorong LTelok Kurau, Bright Centre, it is a cozy restaurant that is spacious and quiet with simple furnishings. Perfect for a comfortable and laid-back meal. If you are thinking of taking your pet dog there, you can as it is a dog friendly cafe ^^

First up, Portobello Mushrooms Grilled  with garlic olive oil and vinegarette. An interesting mixture of flavours. The vinegarette provided a zesty aftertaste that whet up my appetite. The price is $10.50 for 3 pieces and $14.50 for 5 pieces.

Next, the $14.90 Ugly Salmon Cakes. A must-order!!! Chunks of salmon stashed in mashed potatoes with onion bits then fried to a slight crisp. It is not really very ugly though. Looks aside, this dish was fantabulously good!!! So for you guys who are ordering food based on the looks, do remember to order this food even though the food might not appear nice.

To sum up your meal, there is the All-Day BIG Breakfast. A wholesome breakfast is always nice at any time of the day. Garden Slug’s BIG Breakfast is very very nice indeed. For $11.90 you can have Soft fluffy scrambled eggs, evenly toasted facaccia bread, grilled sausage & tomatoes with a side of museli. Very seldom do I come across a breakfast set that comes with museli. Nice and different.
