Set meal of sandwich and drink $4.80+++
Lovely teh-terik with Roasted chicken sandwich! Teh-terik is is really light and it goes well with the bread ! Unlike some coffee house that serve really thick teh-terik that will make you get sick upon drinking too much.


Love the crunchy and soft Focacia bread! Great pair with the filling.
Since the filling have some mayonnaise, thus the overall of this sandwich will not be too dry !

If you want a heavy breakfast, add on with 2 half boiled eggs !

2 Half-boiled egg $1++
I prefer stall that help us to crack the half boiled egg, instead of self-service ! So what about you? &I love my eggs with lots of pepper !

A place for laid-back meal

Looking for a place where you can enjoy your delicious food peacefully on a weekend? This place that i am about to recommend definitely fits the bill. Located at 55 Lorong LTelok Kurau, Bright Centre, it is a cozy restaurant that is spacious and quiet with simple furnishings. Perfect for a comfortable and laid-back meal. If you are thinking of taking your pet dog there, you can as it is a dog friendly cafe ^^

First up, Portobello Mushrooms Grilled  with garlic olive oil and vinegarette. An interesting mixture of flavours. The vinegarette provided a zesty aftertaste that whet up my appetite. The price is $10.50 for 3 pieces and $14.50 for 5 pieces.

Next, the $14.90 Ugly Salmon Cakes. A must-order!!! Chunks of salmon stashed in mashed potatoes with onion bits then fried to a slight crisp. It is not really very ugly though. Looks aside, this dish was fantabulously good!!! So for you guys who are ordering food based on the looks, do remember to order this food even though the food might not appear nice.

To sum up your meal, there is the All-Day BIG Breakfast. A wholesome breakfast is always nice at any time of the day. Garden Slug’s BIG Breakfast is very very nice indeed. For $11.90 you can have Soft fluffy scrambled eggs, evenly toasted facaccia bread, grilled sausage & tomatoes with a side of museli. Very seldom do I come across a breakfast set that comes with museli. Nice and different.

☆Go ! Go ! Curry ! 313@somerset

Japanese Curry are never spicy, and usually carry a little sweet taste.


However, Go!Go!Curry! from Japan,Tokyo, taste a little different but the Japanese curry we had in normal Japanese restaurant/store.



Grand Slam, $18.90
Yes, Go go curry is darker! And it had a more peppery taste. The spicy-ness is thus of course from the pepper!
Grand Slam is the largest meal among the menu, challenge yourself if you wanna finish it all by yourself! It had be share among 4-5 friends for small eaters, so $18.90 is really worth it.
Grand slam consist of  raw lettuce, 1 fried prawn...

1 piece of chicken cutlet, 1 piece of pork cutlet...

2 piece of susage and boiled egg cut in to slices. &Of course lots of peppery curry and lots of Japanese rice !
Eating the raw lettuce with the thick peppery curry simply taste great.

However for the chicken cutlet, i find it a little overcooked thus too hard to chew on ): Whereas the pork cutlet taste just nice!


Go! Go! Curry! have two stall in Singapore currently, both located in town. And i personally feel that the one located at 313@somerset serve better food as compared to the one at Ion orchard.

Feel like having fast food but do not want to step into Mcdonals/KFC/Buger King?
Here's something similar to fast food!!! Vastly known Fish & Co.!

Side Dishes:

Mussel with Garlic and Lemon ($11.95). The mussel tastes good on the whole, especially with the sauce that it is dipped in!

Dip the bread into the sauce and everything's perfect!

Fried Calamari ($9.95)

Never miss this out when you dine at Fish & Co. It tastes especially good when paired with tartar / black pepper sauce!!!!!

 Tartar & black pepper sauce ($0.00) Just ask the friendly waiters and there you go!

Main Dishes:

 Seafood Platter for 1 ($19.95)
Definitely filling with prawns, squid, fries and fish! Squeeze the lemon for ultimate taste!!
Caution!: Light eaters, do find someone to share this with. It will really make you FULL!!

Swordfish Collar ($19.95)
Yet another filling dish! Choose your 2 sides and eat till you're satisfied! Do dip the cut-up portion into the sauce before eating as it will make the swordfish taste even better than it already is!

(This was ordered with rice and sauteed vegetables as the 2 sides)

Stingray with Blackpepper sauce ($16.95) The stingray isn't the commonly seen ones in coffee shops. This one is really thick and has lots of meat for you to taste!! Accompanied with blackpepper sauce, this will be the ultimate combo of your choice! 

Afraid that the blackpepper sauce may not be enough for you? Just ask the staff for more!

(This was ordered with mashed potato and chips as the 2 sides; the mashed potato also differs from those sold outside!)

 Soup of the day!

There are fish slices in it, so fish lovers you'll love this more than anyone else!

 Passion Fruit. It is more like passion fruit soda, but it definitely taste good!

For those people who do not like gassed drinks, this is a good pick!

 Kola Tonic. It is also gassed. I prefer passion fruit to this. Nonetheless, it is always your choice (:

For a more valued experience with Fish & Co., do remember to complete your meal ($5.50) with the soup of the day and a drink of your choice (Passion fruit or Kola tonic)!

In this post, i'll be recommending a few drinks of my choice from Starbucks! Enjoy guys!

First up, The Signature Hot Chocolate

One of Starbucks's rich, flavorful brewed coffees, selected to showcase their roasting and blending artistry !
Made with steamed milk, vanilla and mocha-flavored syrups, and topped with a generous swirl of sweetened whipped cream, this drink will definitely have one of the best chocolaty  that you have ever tasted! :D

Coffee, cocoa, with rich chocolaty chips blended with milk and ice.

Time to recommend some japanese food into our blog for japanese food lover.
I'll be recommending the food they have from their lunch and dinner menu.

First up would be their tonkatsu tamago toji & tofu salad from their lunch menu @ $12.80

There is a deep fried pork cutlet over a bed of semi-cooked egg served with rice, miso soup and tofu salad for the meal.
The pork cutlet was nicely fried but one thing to take note – the sauce might cause the cutlet to be soggy after some time – so be sure to have it fast. The salad sauce they have for the salad makes the tofu salad rather unique.















Next, I will be introducing a meal on their dinner menu, the salmon teriyaki steak $15. 

The chicken was sliced into smaller size for ease of eating. However, it might be a little dry for some. The salmon was fresh and overall it was nice. Together with corn and wedges, the meal is sufficient to fill your  stomach.

Up next, dessert! I am not introducing the tofu cheesecake as it is already very popular. Instead, I will be introducing their matcha parfait.

From $6.90, you can have a wide variety of different items in a cup. There are combines green tea ice cream with mochi balls, green jelly, sponge cake, cornflakes and  soft red beans covered with sweet red bean sauce. the combination makes it unique ^^

Korean Food!

Craving for some korean food after watching all the korean drama on televison? Perhaps its time to come down to Auntie Kim's korean restaurant. The moment you step into this restaurant, you will know that it is a family business serving very authentic food. The restaurant is rather homely and elegant with wooden tables and cushions placed almost everywhere. 

The appetizers came free of charge and refillable!! I love this place already!!!

Here we have Bibimbap which includes Rice, assorted vegetables, egg and chicken in hotpot. Add the special sauce and stir everything together and tahdah, a delicious rice dish. The mixture of soft rice and fresh, crunchy vegetables provides a refreshing texture. 

From $16.00, you can have a Seafood korean pancake that is not only tasty, but crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The salty-spicy homemade sauce also brought an interesting tanginess to the already tasty pancake.

For BBQ food lovers, BBQ sliced pork belly. This has gotta be the best dish of my meal. The pork belly were sliced thinly and grilled to perfectness. The lean meat and the fats were of the right proportion. Grilled until slightly crispy, the pork belly slices were best eaten wrapped in the accompanying fresh lettuce. 

In average, each of the dishes has a price range of $15.00 to $30.00.(Sorry that i had to use a price range as i was unable to remember the exact price.) The price are a little steep but the portion was quite big so i guess it was worth the money. 

Now that everything has been introduced, hope you guys can head over to this restaurant for your meals during weekends.
